The original version of the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge Act (hereinafter “the STOCK Act”) was introduced by U.S. Representatives Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.) (hereinafter “Representative Slaughter”) and Brian Baird (D-Wash.)
