On Friday, October 19, 2012, the first accuser of Jerry Sandusky came forward on national news to announce his identity.\u00a0 His name is Aaron Fisher, and he is 18 years old. Fisher joined the Second Mile, Jerry Sandusky\u2019s charity, at age 10.\u00a0 He began spending nights in Jerry Sandusky\u2019s home at 11.<\/p>\n

By 15, his mother blew the whistle on Jerry Sandusky to his school principal, who did not believe the accusations, according to an ABC 20\/20 interview.\u00a0 School officials then reported Sandusky to Clinton County Children and Youth Services who called the State Police.<\/p>\n

The repercussions Fisher endured for coming forward were great.\u00a0 Sandusky was so prominent in his school that Fisher was heavily bullied when it was announced that he had reported sexual abuse.\u00a0 Fisher became suicidal and often self-mutilated.<\/p>\n

Along with his national interviews, Fisher has co-authored a book about his experiences entitled \u201cSilent No More.\u201d\u00a0 The book was released on October 23, 2012, according to Amazon.com.<\/div>\n
One of the most notable stories of the book, reported Fox News, involved an incident where Sandusky was in his basement attacking Fisher when his wife yelled down for him to fix a table upstairs.\u00a0 Sandusky replied he was fixing an air hockey table, and his wife dropped the subject.<\/div>\n

Meanwhile, Jerry Sandusky\u2019s attorney, Joe Amendola, filed post-sentencing motions claiming that there was a lack of sufficient evidence for a reasonable juror to find Sandusky guilty, and that he received an unfair trial. He has asked that the charges be dismissed or that he get a new trial.\u00a0 Amendola also contends that some of the crimes that Sandusky was found guilty of were barred by the statute of limitations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
