A Tribute to Chief Justice Ronald Castille and State Constitutional Law

The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania will convene a special session at Duquesne University on October 7, 2014 at 4 p.m., during which the School of Law will honor retiring Chief Justice Ronald D. Castille and recognize his many contributions to jurisprudence in Pennsylvania during his tenure on the Court.
The remarks will be memorialized in a Symposium issue of the Duquesne Law Review.
Speakers will include incoming Chief Justice Thomas G. Saylor of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Dean Ken Gormley of Duquesne University School of Law, Professor Robert F. Williams of Rutgers School of Law/Camden, and others.
During the program Chief Justice Castille will be honored with the Carol Los Mansmann Award for Distinguished Public Service for his commitment to equal access to justice for all citizens.
This complimentary event is open to the Duquesne community and members of the bench and bar.
A reception with the Justices of the Supreme Court will follow in the Power Center’s Shepperson Suite.
